By now, every choir student should have brought home the following items:
Chorale: Tuxedo pants, tuxedo coat, black dress, pearls
Var/Spar: Pants, green vest, green bow tie, green dress, pearls
Cecillian: Red dress, pearls
Treble Choir: Blue dress, pearls
Girls will also need black character shoes (please see the “forms” tab above for more information).
However, BOYS will also need to purchase a tuxedo shirt, and CHORALE members will also need a cummerbund and bow tie. THESE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH FROM 6:00-8:00PM IN THE CHOIR HALLWAY. Checks should be made out to “Wolfsfelts.” Please let Mrs. Nichols or Mr. Davidson know if you have questions. Thanks!

It’s time to register for our choir tour to Los Angeles! Our partners at Brightspark have planned an excellent trip. The three links below will give you information about how to register, a trip itinerary, and optional trip insurance.
All of this information will be discussed at our upcoming Parent Meeting on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00 PM in the Choir Room. We will also be discussing payment options, fundraising, and other trip details, so don’t miss out on this important event!

We are kicking off our Fall Fundraiser, BoosterShot Gift-Checkbooks! These checkbooks offer hundreds of dollars in savings to local Northbrook area businesses. Unlike coupons, these gift-checks are good towards any purchase and are used like cash. They’re an amazing value at only $30, and $15.50 of each purchase goes directly into the fundraising account of the student seller.
As always, fundraising is an optional part of the choral program. However, this would be a great way to raise some funds towards the upcoming LA tour, the choir banquet, and other choir-related expenses. These books are recognized in the community and are easy to sell, so we encourage students to participate.

Here is an instructional video as well as one with the music. This will be reviewed on Thursday, but it is in your best interest to learn it over the next couple of days. A few reminders:
- There is an optional clinic tomorrow after school in the Choir Room from 3-3:45PM. This will be for learning the vocal selection.
- Auditions are on Thursday from 3-5:00PM in the Orchestra Room.
- Please bring your signed permission slip/conflict form to your audition. Otherwise, you will be ineligible to be placed on the roster.

The GBN Choir and Theater programs are excited to announce that we are taking a tour to LA this January. We will be leaving on Thursday, January 17th and returning on Monday, January 21st. All students currently enrolled in a curricular choir are invited to attend, though participation is not mandatory.
We will have a parent meeting on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00PM in the Choir Room (E104). Topics will include the trip itinerary, cost, fundraising options, flight details, chaperone needs, performance opportunities, and other tour details, as well as offer parents the opportunity to ask questions to a representative of the tour company.
The session will be geared toward parents/guardians, but students are welcome to attend.
We are thrilled for this opportunity. Hope to see you at the meeting!
